Fatboys Charity, like so many other charities, will be hit financially by the pandemic.
Our annual fundraiser is unlikely to happen this year and we are totally dependent on the kindness and generosity of others to enable us to purchase gifts at Christmas for children dealing with cancer and leukaemia throughout the UK.
This, amongst the personal financial difficulties so many families will face as a result of the economic impact of Coronavirus, is going to make it a challenging year for us to do what we do each year.
But it will happen, somehow.
We are always humbled by the support and fundraising others provide on our behalf.
A few weeks back Amanda and Bob Carver launched a T-shirt design by Joanne Spencer to raise funds for us (see our Fatboys Facebook page for details).
Yesterday, our good friend and supporter Dan Reed from US band Dan Reed Network announced that Mel Toms' company had launched a face mask with the band design on and profits would go to Fatboys.
Visit support the charity in any way you can. Every penny goes towards helping children. We have no overheads, salaries or bureaucracy to divert important donations.
